Welsh Rivers
Wales is a beautiful country, looking and feeling totally different to the rest of the UK both in terms of architecture and landscapes, and in its river. Instead of having 'pool drop' style rapids, in Wales there are fast flowing rivers, with one rapid leading into another.
| Upper Tryweryn |
An incredibly fun intermediate run! I could quite happilly run this section of river every day of the week for a month. On this section of river is 'the Graveyard', which is an intimidating sounding rapid, but it's actually a sweet run down. Plenty of play boating opportunities give the stronger paddlers something a little more fun. |

| Lower Tryweryn |
A milder version of the Upper Tryweryn for those looking for a slightly more relaxed run. A single (fairly easy) grade 4 with an easy portage is noteworthy, mainly because it all but marks the egress. |

| Dee |
A rather boring section of river, further marred by having to pay to get on it....not really worth it. |
